A Las Vegas woman was hospitalized this morning after being hit by a car while crossing an intersection in Las Vegas, according to Metro Police.
The 19-year-old pedestrian was crossing Stewart Avenue at Ronald Lane about 10:05 a.m. when she was struck by an eastbound sedan, police said. The pedestrian was transported to University Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.
The driver of the sedan, whose identity was withheld because they are a juvenile, remained at the scene and did not appear impaired.
The collision remains under investigation, police said.
