A recent article reported a significant increase in fentanyl deaths in New York City. Not mentioned in the article was any reference to the significant increase in fentanyl coming across the open southern border because of the Biden administration policies. And now you see that Senator Murphy is seeking immigration reform, but only after the Republicans took control of the House. He is two years late in demonstrating any interest in the problems at the border.

We used to be concerned about drug tunnels, but now it is hand carried across the border almost without intervention. All because of the current administration's policies. These policies need to change. Let us hope the democrats in the House will cooperate with the republicans to enact meaningful laws that lead to real border control.
