SHE’S BEEN MISSING FOR DAYS NOW, AND HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY ARE PRAYING SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE INFORMATION THAT COULD BRING ANA HOME. >> WE HAVE DETECTIVES WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK. REPORTER: AFTER ALMOST A WEEK, STILL NO SIGN OF 39-YEAR-OLD ANA WALSHE, LAST SEEN AT HER HOME IN COHASSET EARLY IN THE MORNING ON NEW YEAR’S DAY. >> SHE WAS REPORTED MISSING WEDNESDAY, SIMULTANEOUSLY WE RECEIVED REPORTS FROM HER EMPLOYER IN WASHINGTON DC AS WELL AS HER HUSBAND WHO LIVES HERE IN COHASSET. REPORTER: POLICE SAY FAMILY MEMBERS REPORTED SHE WAS DUE TO TAKE A FLIGHT TO WASHINGTON DC ON SUNDAY FOR WORK AND THAT A RIDESHARE WOULD BE PICKING HER UP. THEY SAY IT’S UNCLEAR WHETHER SHE EVER GOT INTO A RIDESHARE, BUT SAY SHE NEVER BOARDED A PLANE AT LOGAN. ACCORDING TO POLICE, A FAMILY MEMBER SAW ANA THAT MORNING, AND SHE REPORTEDLY HAD HER BAGS WITH HER. POLICE SAY ANA’S PHONE HAS BEEN OFF SINCE SUNDAY, AND THEY HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO TRACK ANY CREDIT CARD ACTIVITY. >> WELL IT’S NOT NORMAL THAT SHE’S MISSING SO WE AUTOMATICALLY FEEL SHE’S IN DANGER BY THE MERE FACT THAT SHE’S MISSING. OTHER THAN THAT NO INFO TO SUPPORT ANYTHING ILLEGAL. >> AT THIS TIME, AUTHORITIES TELL US THERE IS NO EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT CRIMINAL ACTIVITY. POLICE NOW LOOKING INTO ALL POSSIBLE CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING HER DISAPPEARANCE. >> SOMETIMES LIFE GETS CHAOTIC AND IT MAY BE A CASE WHERE SHE JUST NEEDED A BREAK AND IF THAT’S THE CASE WE JUST NEED A CALL FROM HER OR SOMEONE THAT HAS TALKED TO HER. Police in Cohasset, Massachusetts, are seeking the public's help to track down a missing woman. Ana Walshe, 39, was last seen at her home shortly after midnight on New Year's Day. "At this point it is a missing person investigation," Cohasset Police Chief William Quigley said Friday. "We are trying to local Ana and get her home safely. We have nothing to support anything suspicious or criminal."Walshe is described as 5 feet, 2 inches and weighing 115 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and an olive complexion, police said.Police said it is believed she speaks with an Eastern European accent.On Friday, a fire broke out at Walshe's former home on Jerusalem Road in Cohasset. Heavy flames and smoke were seen by reporters outside the home. A source tells WCVB that address is the home where Walshe resided until recently. Zillow shows the property was last sold on March 17, 2022. According to WCVB, friends said she was supposed to fly to Washington, D.C., on Sunday but never arrived. They said she commutes to Washington during the week for work at a large real estate company. "It was reported that she was trying to catch a flight during the early-morning hours from Logan to D.C.," Quigley said. "There was a flight booked. She did have a ticket issued for Jan. 3. She never got on that flight."WCVB reported that she is active on social media but friends said those accounts went silent on Sunday when she was due to catch a flight. "(Her) cellphone has been off since the first of the year," Quigley said, adding that none of her credit or debit cards have been active since the first of the year.Friends said Walshe has a husband and three children.
