Joe Jackson had some advice for grandson Blanket Jackson.
In an odd video posted to Twitter on Monday, Joe advises 15-year-old Blanket to “stay healthy” among other things.
“Hello, Blanket!” Joe started in the nearly one-minute clip. “Your health is… I don’t know what. You’re like your father. Now I understand why your father had your wear masks all the time ‘cause news people was bothering him so much and he tried to disguise you as much as possible. But I want you to stay healthy and stay off those bikes. Don’t ride, now.”
Before signing off, Joe, 89, who was wearing a shirt, tie, a few gold necklaces and a fedora added, “But anyway, tell your brothers I said hello and stay clean and healthy. And see lots of movies if you can, good movies of course. And be like me. Be tough. Be tough in a good way. You’ll live a long time. Above all, I love you all. Take care, man. You be good. I’ll see you next time I come to L.A. OK? Adios.”
What made Joe’s comments so bizarre is that it was actually Joe’s other grandson, Prince Jackson, who crashed his motorcycle in early November. The 20-year-old’s injuries required emergency medical attention, but he left the hospital with no broken bones.
