Mohan Bhagwat, the Chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), declared at an event in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, that the 'Sanatan' dharma, or Hinduism, doesn't require any validation as it has been time-tested and proven true. Speaking at a 'Sanyas Diksha' ceremony, Bhagwat encouraged the attendees to enhance the prestige of the saffron colour by wearing it. He cited the English phrase "time proven" to support his claim that Hinduism has stood the test of time. Bhagwat's remarks reflect the RSS's long-standing stance on Hinduism and its significance in India. He further said that the Sanatan dharma, which started earlier, exists today and will also be there tomorrow.
