Kansas City things to do: Kites, comedy, fountains, horror films, hearts and ‘Annie’
Kites of all sizes and shapes, including what is billed as the world’s largest windsock, will fill the skies over Metropolitan Community College-Longview in Lee’s Summit for Flights of Fancy noon to 5 p.m. April 16.
Food trucks will be on hand for the annual free event. Families are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and kites, which also will be sold on site.
