An oil refinery in south Arkansas caught fire Monday night, police confirmed.
According to the El Dorado Police Department, the Delek refinery did catch on fire but the actual cause has yet to be determined.
El Dorado Fire Chief Chad Mosby said it appears lightning struck a tank at the facility around 6 p.m.
At the request of Delek, both the fire and police department assisted the company's fire brigade to help control the fire which lasted around two hours, Mosby said.
The fire chief said the flames were under control pretty quick and that the fast response made the difference.
There is no word on the extent of damage or any resulting injuries, though authorities said more information would be released as it became available.
In 2019, another fire broke out at the same facility. No injuries were reported during that fire.
According to Tennessee-based Delek, they operate four refineries in the southern United States.
In 2011, Delek acquired Lion Oil Company, including the El Dorado refinery and other product terminals in Tennessee.
