Erma Lee Strausbaugh, 71, of Manchester, PA passed away March 27, 2023 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Born January 5, 1952 in York, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Dorothy (Wymer) Strausbaugh.
She is survived by her life partner, David Carley of Manchester. In addition, she is survived by two sisters, Dorothy (John) Mundis and Linda (Keith) Baker as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Katherine Blouse and Ray R. Strausbaugh, Jr.
A 1969 graduate of William Penn High School, she retired from Johnson Controls of York.
Erma enjoyed the beach, traveling, golfing, fishing, and camping with her family and friends.
The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Grand Strand Medical Center and Agape Care of Myrtle Beach, SC.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Emigsville Fire Hall, 3118 North George Street, Emigsville, PA 17318.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the York Cancer Center, 25 Monument Road, Suite #194, York, PA 17403 or to the SPCA of York County, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406.
