New Mexico cops search for at-risk missing person

The New Mexico State Police have issued a Missing Endangered Person Advisory, asking the public for assistance in locating the whereabouts of Jose Diaz, aged 39, of Chimayo.

According to investigators, he was last seen on Tuesday, May 30, at his residence on County Road 95 in Chimayo.  Diaz is described as 5ft11in tall, weighs around 140lb, and has brown eyes and black hair.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and beige khakis and was driving a low rider style gray 1986 Ford Ranger.

An Endangered Missing Advisory (EMA) is an alert available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious disappearance of at-risk missing children or other endangered persons. EMAs provide immediate information to the public to aid in the potential swift recovery of at-risk persons.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jose Diaz is asked to call the New Mexico State Police at (505) 425-6771 or dial 911.
