24 to compete in Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen in Gallatin
Twenty-four young women will compete this spring in Gallatin for the Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen crown.
The candidates will compete at 7:30 p.m. March 30 at Gallatin High School.
Prior to the competition, contestants will arrive in Sumner County Friday afternoon and rehearse at the high school from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, they will have private interviews with the judges at Gallatin City Hall.
After the 2019 Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen is crowned, she will have a press conference, and her job will begin Sunday, March 31, with her first appearance and contract signing.
Scholarships
- The winner will receive a $3,000 scholarship.
- First runner-up: $2,000 scholarship
- Second runner-up: $1,500
- Third runner-up: $1,000
- Fourth runner-up: $500 scholarship
The winner will represent Tennessee at the 2019 Miss America's Outstanding Teen National Finals in Orlando July 23-27.
This year's judges are: Katie Stam Irk, Miss America 2009; Devin Grissom Roper, Miss Tennessee's Outstanding Teen; Michael Nash; Judd Trimble; Whitney Johnson Walters and Willie Montejo.
