It may be hot this weekend, but there are plenty of chances to see old favorites, and maybe a few trick shots from Frisco-based YouTube sensations Dude Perfect.

Sara Evans

July 28, 7:30 p.m.| Meyerson Symphony Center

Sara Evans has been on country radio airwaves for a good two decades, hitting the charts with a handful of songs that were routinely crooned on karaoke nights. Expect the award-winning singer to give everyone what they want, including “Suds in the Bucket,” “Born to Fly,” “I Could Not Ask for More,” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” Get tickets

Jinkx Monsoon

July 28, 8 p.m.| Majestic Theatre

Jinkx Monsoon brings her Everything At Stake tour to the Majestic Theatre Friday night, delivering a combination of drag, music, and stand-up. ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd

July 29, 6:30 p.m.| Dickies Arena, Fort Worth

It’s a classic rock two-fer Saturday night in Cowtown as Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top share the bill at Dickies Arena. It’s the 50th anniversary of former’s debut album, too. Both bands are also performing after the loss of members—ZZ Top lost bassist Dusty Hill in 2021, and Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Gary Rossington died in March. Get tickets

Lil Baby

July 29, 7 p.m.| American Airlines Center

After summarily canceling several dates of his summer tour with no explanation and losing his co-headliner, Kid Laroi, Lil Baby rolls into town Friday … probably. He’s touring in support of his latest album, It’s Only Me, which hit the Billboard 200 chart. Openers still include GloRilla, Gloss Up, Rylo Rodriguez, and Hunxho. Get tickets

The Toadies

July 29, 7 p.m.| Lexus Box Garden at Legacy Hall, Plano

The Toadies will apparently take a quick break from recording their new album (due out next year, word has it) to hit the stage at the Lexus Box Garden at Plano’s Legacy Hall Saturday night. Expect your favorites from the Fort Worth band, plus some new stuff maybe (fingers crossed). Get tickets

Blondshell

July 29, 9 p.m.| Dada

Born Sabrina Teitelbaum, Blondshell is winding up her summer tour with stops in Dallas, Houston, and San Francisco before joining Liz Phair’s North American tour this fall. The singer released her self-titled album in April, and has since been named a 2023 Artist to Watch in Uproxx, and featured in Rolling Stone. She also made her late-night TV debut on The Tonight Show, and recently was featured on CBS Saturday Morning’s “Saturday Sessions.”  Get tickets

KNON 40th Anniversary Benefit

July 30, 3 p.m.| Granada Theatre

Community radio station (and 2023 Best of Big D winner) KNON will celebrate its 40th anniversary this weekend with a jam-packed roster of Dallas musicians, including Latin Grammy nominee Jay Perez, Dallas blues legend R.L. Griffin and the Blues Palace Show Band with special guest Fat Daddy and Gregg A Smith, rock artist Igor and the Red Elvises and local country music artist Matt Hillyer. Get tickets

Dude Perfect

July 30, 6 p.m.| Dickies Arena, Fort Worth

If you have a 12-year-old boy in your house, chances are very good that you’ve spent time watching Dude Perfect’s trick shots repeatedly, perhaps even gently reminding your child that they are YouTube millionaires with very good insurance and he is not. The Frisco-based quintet will undoubtedly wow the crowds with their live show too, which (according to the press release) will include a round of “Wheel Unfortunate” and “Cool Not Cool.” Get tickets

Steve Miller Band

July 30, 7 p.m.| Dos Equis Pavilion

True story: St. Mark’s School of Texas grad Steve Miller recorded his biggest hit, “The Joker,” in about two hours. ”It’s an odd tune,” he said. “I didn’t know if it was something I really liked when I was working on it.” Well, everyone else did and that song, along with other hits “Fly Like an Eagle,” “Take the Money and Run,” and “Swingtown,” got him to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He’ll release a boxed set in honor of the 50th anniversary of “The Joker” this fall. Get tickets
