"Loudmouths" are talking about Green Day and Weezer. Both bands make their Louder Than Life debut in 2023 along with headliners Foo Fighters, Tool, Queens of the Stone Age, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeth and Limp Bizkit.

Billed as "America's Largest Rock Festival" the 2023 Louder Than Life Festival takes place Thursday, Sept. 21 through Sunday, Sept. 24 at Highlands Festival Grounds, 937 Phillips Lane, in Louisville and offers fans more than 100 music performances on five separate stages.

And while the headliners are the obvious draw, we went in search of musical surprises and not-to-be-missed artists, (we're talking about you Flogging Molly, and White Reaper,) who are also headed to this year's festival.

Here's what to know about some of the Louder Than Life acts you won't want to miss in the 2023 lineup:

Slipknot and Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor will perform solo at this year's Louder Than Life Festival. For many of Taylor's fans, this will be the first chance to catch his solo "CMF2" U.S. tour. The Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter, actor and New York Times best-selling author will perform Friday at 4:45 p.m. on the Space Zebra Stage.

Internet-famous Oliver Anthony added to Louder Than Life lineup

Viral country sensation Oliver Anthony has been added to the 2023 Louder Than Life lineup. In August, the 31-year-old Virginia native and his song "Rich Men North of Richmond" rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, even though Anthony has never had a song on any chart — ever. Anthony will play on Thursday and Friday at the Kroger Big Bourbon Bar. Festival organizers tell the Courier Journal that times for Anthony's performances at the Big Bourbon Bar will be added to the festival website.

Their identities remain a mystery, which only adds to the buzz surrounding the band Sleep Token. The four members of Sleep Token guard their faces with masks, cloke their bodies in gowns, and never speak directly to their fans. The lead singer goes by the name Vessel, and the drummer, bassist, and guitarist are known as II, III, and IV.

Intrigued? You'll find Sleep Token on the Revolver Stage on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
