Massive NH Fentanyl Bust: Woman Gets 8 Years In Prison

New Hampshire authorities said Nicole Roskos, of Epsom, was found with more than 500 grams of fentanyl and four guns.

CONCORD, NH — An Epsom woman who admitted to possessing more than 500 grams of fentanyl and four guns was sentenced to 8 years in prison, U.S. Attorney Scott Murray announced Monday. Nicole Roskos, 30, of Epsom, pleaded guilty to drug trafficking and weapons charges in U.S. District Court in Concord.

Murray said she was arrested after selling fentanyl to an undercover agent. She was arrested in September 2017 and police said they found 511 grams of fentanyl, four firearms, ammunition and $24,000 in cash at her residence.

Roskos was also sentenced to 3 years supervised release.

“The deadly combination of fentanyl trafficking and firearms pose a substantial threat to public safety,” Murray said in a statement. “We will continue to work with all of our law enforcement partners to identify and prosecute those who distribute deadly drugs such as fentanyl. It should be noted, that drug dealers who choose to use guns to further their unlawful activities subject themselves to longer prison terms when convicted.”
