Bubble show to transport audiences into underwater daydream Thursday evening

Nov. 8—ANDERSON — What began as a search for alternative teaching methods, turned into a thriving business for Dace Pezzoli and her husband, Enrico.

Pezzoli, a student of pedagogy, wanted to explore different methods of teaching, also known as pedagogy.

This pursuit took her to various countries, including Sweden, Finland and Denmark where she learned about circus performing and its educational value.

"When the kids are doing the circus art, it helps them for mathematics, for logic," she said.

Pezzoli eventually met her husband, who has a theatre history background.

The two head up "B — The Underwater Bubble Show," which will be performing at the Paramount Theatre on Nov. 9. at 7 p.m.

The show tells the story of Mr. B, a man seeking to escape from the rat race he calls life and recover his true colorful nature.

Mr. B's desires take him under the sea, where he meets a variety of colorful characters.

Audiences get to see each of the characters perform a variety of circus type acts, including contortion, pantomime and aerialist.

Pezzoli described the show as "dynamic," saying each act lasts about three to four minutes.

This show has traveled to 26 countries, including England, Italy and Saudi Arabia.

This is their eighth year traveling to the United States. Pezzoli said she enjoys US audiences because they are happy and optimistic.
