The Hunter Biden indictment brings some challenges to the President’s reelection campaign as the House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer says the charges could actually protect the first son.

Washington Insider Armstrong Williams joined The National Desk’s Jan Jeffcoat to break it down.

“Well, obviously Hunter Biden has become a headache for his father but you know his father has not only contradicted himself, he's founded prevaricate when it comes to the truth about his involvement and what did he know?” He said. “I know many people who believe that these allegations lead eventually back to the President but for now, Hunter Biden is just corrupt.”

Hunter Biden is facing 9-counts and up to 17 years in prison if he's found guilty. These are charges Comer says would have landed anybody else in America in prison. He believes the timing was done in an effort to protect Hunter Biden from giving a testimony and that scheduled deposition.

“He committed acts that are just unspeakable. You can spend $200,000 procuring prostitutes and sex acts and lining it up as a business expense on your taxes. I mean, are you kidding me? This is so egregious,” Williams said. “We’re seeing David Weiss finally having the ability to his do his job, whether Hunter Biden decided not to be subpoenaed by bringing these charges from California. The bottom line, Hunter Biden is being slow walked to finally face the consequences of his actions.”
