SUPERIOR – A new multimedia journalism program will launch in fall 2021 at the University of Wisconsin-Superior, the university announced last week.
The program, which reflects the changing industry, was developed with input from media and communications leaders in the region. Multimedia journalism will be available under the Communicating Arts Department as an on-campus major or online as a minor.

Students in the program will learn traditional news writing and reporting along with a variety of digital skills, including audio, video and web design. The increased multimedia focus will better prepare students to produce compelling digital stories across multiple platforms.
