Take down the boss, and they'll drop tons of Time Crystals and the Soma Tree Petal.
Lower City Soma Tree Flower 1

Lower City Soma Tree Petal 2
- Requires 5 Spirited Sand Jars
The second Soma Tree Petal in the Lower City can be earned by completing the first tier of the Prophecy of Mount Qaf Side Quest. To complete the first tier and earn your reward, find at least 5 Spirited Sand Jars and interact with the mural in the Prophecy Room.
To find the Prophecy Room, start at The Haven and head east. Use the water wheels in the next room to reach the right middle passage, then deposit the Spirited Sand Jars to collect Time Crystals and this Soma Tree Petal.
Lower City Soma Tree Petal 3
- Requires Dimensional Claw
Like Spirited Sand Jar 3, this Soma Tree Petal can only be collected after unlocking the Dimensional Claw ability and acquiring an explosive item like an explosive barrel. Once you've met these prerequisites, head to the large courtyard-like area on the western reaches of the Lower City. You may remember this area as the first place you encountered Cursed Soldiers.
From the center of the courtyard, head east and walk underneath the first broken walkway to discover a glowing wall. Use Dimensional Claw to throw your explosive at the glowing wall to clear a path.
After dropping into the newly discovered area, break through the wooden wall and head as far left as you can before descending through the marked platform. Next, smash through the wooden doorway on the left, jump over the following gap, then climb onto the upper right surface. Lastly, jump upward again, break the wood in the right wall, and slide through the gap to collect this Soma Tree Petal.
Lower City Soma Tree Petal 4
The fourth Soma Tree Petal in the Lower City can be earned by finding at least 20 Spirited Sand Jars throughout Mount Qaf. Once you've checked off 20 Spirited Sand Jars, return to the Prophecy Room east of The Haven and interact with the mural at the center of the room to claim your prize.
Lower City Soma Tree Petal 5
- Requires Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh
After unlocking the Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh ability, start at The Haven, walk into the eastern room, and then drop through the grate on the lower level. Next, follow the right path, drop through the wooden platform, then throw your Chakram through the gate on your left to teleport past the blockage.
Quickly interact with the lever to permanently open the gate, descend through the wooden platform, and then use Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh again to get past the gate on your left. In the next area, teleport through the grate on the floor to reach a miniboss area. Defeat Ardashir and he'll drop this Soma Tree Petal and Xerxes Coin 3.
Lower City Soma Tree Flower 2
The final Treasure in the Lower City is another Soma Tree Flower which can be earned by completing the Prophecy of Mount Qaf Side Quest. This will require you to find all 30 Spirited Sand Jars in Mount Qaf before returning to the Prophecy Room east of The Haven to collect your reward.
Lower City Soma Tree Petal 6
The final Soma Tree Petal in the Lower City can be purchased from the Magi Emporium in The Haven for 500 Time Crystals.
Hyrcanian Forest Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Hyrcanian Forest Soma Tree Petal 1
To collect this Soma Tree Petal, you'll need to solve the Mystery Chest Puzzle found in the area near the Hyrcanian Forest's northernmost Wak-Wak Tree. When you reach the area, head east to find a metal platform beneath several platforms covered in tall red grass.
To complete the Mystery Chest Puzzle and earn the Soma Tree Flower, quickly shoot the tall red grass with your Bow. Your goal is to cut down all the red grass before they can regrow. If performed correctly, a chest containing the Soma Tree Flower will appear on the metal platform below.
Hyrcanian Forest Soma Tree Petal 2
This Soma Tree Petal can be earned by completing The Deserter Side Quest. This Side Quest can be accepted early into the exploration of the Hyrcanian Forest. Continue past the first Wak-Wak Tree going into a passage below and through a tunnel into an open area.
Here, look above you for a red flower with some vines. Wall-jump off the left wall to strike at the flower and it will sprout a temporary mushroom platform for you. You can use this to cross the stone archways to a ledge with a small opening you can slide through to meet a giant of a man with a large cannon.
Soma Tree - Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Soma Tree - Soma Tree Flower 1
The Soma Tree Flower can be earned by defeating, Kiana the Forest Queen, in the bramble-covered arena between the two northernmost Wak-Wak trees in the region.
Soma Tree - Soma Tree Petal 1
To pick up this Soma Tree Petal, start at the Wak-Wak tree at the base of the vertical passage marked on your map with four statues. From here, climb upward until you spot one of the magical grapple points you can attach to after unlocking the Fabric of Time ability. When you reach this area, head east, jump onto the upper platform in the next room, then use a charged attack to get through the first vine-covered doorway.
After defeating the birds in the area, jump up, approach the left wall, then drop through the wooden platform to discover the Soma Tree Petal.
The Depths Soma Tree Health Upgrades
The Depths Soma Tree Petal 1
- Requires Shadow of the Simurgh
This Soma Tree Petal can be found on a hidden platform in the area just south of the Wak-Wak tree beside the Shallows Fast Travel point. Because you may not have discovered these points of interest just yet, let's start from the site of your crash landing into The Depths at the end of The Abducted Prince Main Quest.
From the crash site, climb the platforms to your left to find a hall occupied by one of the grotesque shield creatures. Run towards the creature, quickly place a Shadow, and lure it away before returning to your Shadow.
After getting past the creature, enter the area to the left and walk down the short flight of stairs ahead. Wait for the poison spout to stop pouring, drop down, then quickly dash right to land on the hidden platform housing the Soma Tree Petal.
Sacred Archives Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Sacred Archives Soma Tree Petal 1
The first Soma Tree Petal in the Sacred Archives can be earned by solving the Mystery Chest Puzzle in the room where three Mad Alchemists can be found kneeling before a mural. After fending off Anahita's guards alongside Vahram during The Abducted Prince quest, head west to enter the Sacred Archives for the first time.
Trek up the long flight of stairs ahead and walk through the left doorway to enter the room where this Treasure is found. After the Jailer leaves, approach the Mad Alchemists in front of the mural, then kneel in the empty blue circle to summon the chest containing this Soma Tree Petal.
Sacred Archives Soma Tree Petal 2
- Requires Holy Scholarship Key
After defeating the Jailer to obtain the Holy Scholarship Key, return to the Prison subregion and walk through the lower right hallway that leads to three previously inaccessible Eye Lock Doors.
To collect this Soma Tree Petal, stand on the pedestal in front of the lowest Eye Lock Door to gain entry. Inside, you'll need to defeat a blue, tusked ogre enemy and his band of baddies. Once the enemies have been vanquished, the ogre will drop the second Soma Tree Petal available in this region.
Sacred Archives Soma Tree Petal 3
- Requires Clairvoyance
After solving the Portal Puzzle Rooms, travel to the spacious northwestern room marked on your map with pillars. This is the same room with two massive parallel dimensional platforms. When you reach this area, activate Clairvoyance and wall jump between the dimensional platforms to reach the northern ledge. Enter the portal on the platform overhead and complete the puzzle to secure this Soma Tree Petal.
Upper City Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Upper City Soma Tree Petal 1
To find this Soma Tree Petal, travel to the large rectangular area on the southeastern edge of the region. Once in the southeastern area, use Clairvoyance and the dimensional platforms to defeat the Citadel Snipers before jumping onto the high platform at the center of the room.
Use Dimensional Claw to grab the purple object on the central platform, then drop down and throw the magical talisman at the empty slot to open the locked grate. Drop into the newly opened chute, and you'll find three treasure chests. While the left and center chests contain 200 Time Crystals, this Soma Tree Petal sits within the chest near the right wall.
Upon opening the chest, it'll be revealed as a mimic. Defeat the mimic, and it'll drop the first Soma Tree Petal in the Upper City.
Upper City Soma Tree Petal 2
After defeating Menolias during The Celestial Guardians Main Quest, head left toward the balcony where you can use your Celestial Arrows to summon Venant. As you walk down the steps leading to the balcony, you'll stumble upon this Soma Tree Petal spinning on the floor.
Upper City Soma Tree Petal 3
- Requires Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh
To collect this Soma Tree Petal, unlock the Chakram Shadow of the Simurgh ability, then venture to the Hanging Gardens Fast Travel point. From the fast travel point, head south, walk through the bottom right doorway, and travel to the eastern side of the room.
Before reaching the moving spiked traps, wall-jump upward to reach the upper right ledge, then walk off the right ledge. At this point, you should notice a thin grate in the right wall. Throw your Chakram through the grate, teleport to it, and then walk right to find a complex series of lethal traps.
Carefully throw the Chakram through the first two traps, teleport to it, then dash and double jump to clear your first hurdle. Next, double jump to fall between the spinning traps, grab the handhold on the right wall, fall, dash left, and double jump to land on a second spike-less platform. Now you'll notice two gates to your left. Throw the Chakram through both gates simultaneously, and teleport to collect your Soma Tree Petal.
Upper City Soma Tree Flower 1
- Requires Fabric of Time
To collect the only Soma Tree Flower in this region, you'll need to solve the nine Mystery Chest Puzzles found throughout Mount Qaf and unlock the Fabric of Time ability. Once you've met these conditions, fast travel to the Night Temple and jump off the right ledge to find a grapple point above a spike pit.
Use Fabric of Time to attach to the grapple point and clear the hazard. In the room to your right, you'll discover the final puzzle you must solve to complete The Architect Side Quest.
To solve the final puzzle, use your bow to shoot the floating stones in the order depicted above, and you'll unlock a portal. Enter the portal and walk onto the balcony on the far right end of the area to find a chest housing the Soma Tree Flower.
Sunken Harbor Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Sunken Harbor Soma Tree Petal 1
To collect this Soma Tree Petal, start at the Landmines Fast Travel point, then head east past the moving log to enter the next room where a saw-throwing enemy will be waiting. Climb to the top of the room, then walk into the hall at the center of the area to find a chest that's surprisingly easy to collect.
That's because the chest is actually a mimic that won't let you claim the Soma Tree Petal without a fight. Defeat the mimic, then pick up the Soma Tree Petal to make progress toward increasing your Max HP.
Sunken Harbor Soma Tree Petal 2
- Requires Gravity Wings
To collect this Soma Tree Petal, start at the room marked on your map with hanging platforms, then walk through the eastern exit. You're now in the room housing this Treasure, but you'll need to reach the upper left ledge to grab it. After double-jumping onto the first platform overhead, approach the swinging log to your left, then wall-jump through the narrow corridor just right of the log.
Next, approach the left ledge, and you should spot a log overhead and another to your left. Wall-jump off the wall to your right to clear the log above you, then dash left to find the Soma Tree Petal near the left wall.
Raging Sea Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Raging Sea Soma Tree Petal 1
This Soma Tree Petal can be picked up after Tap to Reveal during The Celestial Guardians Main Quest. After the boss battle, head east toward the constellation, and you'll find the Soma Tree Petal on the floor.
Raging Sea Soma Tree Petal 2
This Soma Tree Petal and Time Crystal Chest 2 can only be collected by taking a lengthy detour to reach the Raging Sea's secret area. To get there, journey to the Soma Tree Fast Travel point, head east to the Lighthouse in the Hidden Village, then jump off the eastern ledge.
Instead of falling to your death, you'll fall into a section of the Raging Sea that cannot be reached in any other way. Once in the secret area, drop into the ship wreckage, and you'll get ambushed by several waves of enemies. Survive the gauntlet, then walk into the left room to find the Soma Tree Petal on the upper platform.
Tower of Silence Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Tower of Silence Soma Tree Flower 1
The Soma Tree Flower Treasure can be earned by defeating Tap to Reveal toward the end of the Father and Son Main Quest. After taking down the boss, he'll automatically drop this HP-boosting Collectible.
Tower of Silence Soma Tree Petal 1
To find this Soma Tree Petal, travel to the southeastern room marked on your map with a wing. To get there, start at the easternmost Wak-Wak tree in the region, drop through the nearby bridge, then quickly slide through the gap in the right wall to avoid the hulking enemy below.
Once in the next room, use the Fabric of Time grapple points to avoid the icy spikes. After escaping the narrow corridors filled with spikes, use the grapple points to reach the northern platform and approach the right ledge to spot yet another grapple point.
Use the grapple points to cross the gap to your right, and you'll land on a small ledge housing your Soma Tree Petal.
Tower of Silence Soma Tree Petal 2
To collect this Treasure, you'll need to solve the Mystery Chest Puzzle found east of Kamya's Wak-Wak tree, which sits northeast of Kaheva's Forge. From the Wak-Wak tree, head east and defeat the enemies in front of the fractured, octagon-shaped sculpture. To solve the Mystery Chest Puzzle, stand to the right of the sculpture and move your camera to reconstruct the octagon as best as possible.
When you feel you've lined up the broken pieces, throw your Chakram through the hole in the center, and a chest housing this Soma Tree Petal should appear on the nearby metal platform. Solving this puzzle can be finicky, so you may need to line up the fractured pieces a few times before you get it just right.
Pit of Eternal Sands Soma Tree Health Upgrades
Pit of Eternal Sands Soma Tree Flower 1
The sole Soma Tree Flower in the Pit of Eternal Sands can be earned by breaking into the Sealed Lair and defeating the giant snake enemy, Azhdaha. Though you won't kill Azhdaha completely, if you survive the battle, walk up the left staircase to find a chest housing your Soma Tree Flower.
Pit of Eternal Sands Soma Tree Petal 1
To collect the first Soma Tree Petal, start at the northwestern Wak-Wak tree, climb onto the ledge to your left, and head west. Pass through the first sand column, then use the motion-activated traps above to climb before continuing westward. Use your entire kit of movement abilities to follow the natural path ahead, and you'll have the opportunity to pick up both Xerxes Coin 7 and Xerxes Coin 8.
If you survive the obstacle course, you'll be led straight to this Soma Tree Petal.
Pit of Eternal Sands Soma Tree Petal 2
- Requires Dimensional Claw
This Soma Tree Petal can be earned by completing the Mystery Chest Puzzle found on the southeastern end of the region. To reach the puzzle, start at the Sentinel's Road Fast Travel point and drop off the left ledge to discover a glowing floor. Use Dimensional Claw to grab a nearby explosive rock, then throw it at the glowing wall to open a path to the Mystery Chest Puzzle.
However, before you can solve this puzzle, you'll need to abduct one of the statuesque enemies commonly found in the Upper City. Return to the Sentinel's Fast Travel point, teleport to the Night Temple Fast Travel point, and jump off the left side of the building.
In the area below, use Dimensional Claw to kidnap one of the enemies pictured above, then return to the Mystery Chest Puzzle in the Pit of Eternal Sands.
Finally, throw the statuesque enemy between the two jade-colored traps to activate them. Once the enemy has been crushed by the motion-activated traps, a chest housing the Soma Tree Petal will appear on the metal platform on the lower level.
