Here are some of the best restaurants and events to attend in celebration of Mardi Gras this year. 

Big Daddy’s

The Paramount

Get ready for a night of Mardi Gras magic at The Paramount in Huntington on Feb. 17., featuring the Brass Queens, a New York-based brass band with an all-female horn section, paying homage to New Orleans. Special guests include Black Tie Brass and Stoop Kidz. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the show kicking off at 8 p.m.. You can enjoy music while having their hurricane drink special, see carnival performers, and collect beads. Tickets are available at various prices based on seating.
