The 1975 joined by Tim Healy for ‘All I Need To Hear’ at Manchester gig

The 1975 were joined by frontman Matty’s dad Tim Healy at their Manchester gig this weekend – see him sing ‘All I Need To Hear’ below.

Healy – a star of TV shows Benidorm and Auf Wiedershen Pet – has performed the track, from 2022 album Being Funny in a Foreign Language, with his son’s band before and did so again at the AO Arena on Sunday night (February 18).

The gig – part of the band’s ongoing Still… At Their Very Best tour of the UK and Europe – also saw them play rare track ‘Milk’ live for the first time in years, dedicated to young fan Rhiannon.

Matty Healy said of the performance: “We had quite a special one today. A young girl called Rhiannon, she’s had a tough life, you wouldn’t be able to tell, she’s a cool, nice person. I asked her if she had any favourite songs she wanted us to play, and she did. She gave us a very deep cut, and we’re gonna try to get it right for you, Rhiannon.”

The Still… At Their Very Best tour continues in London tomorrow night, before wrapping up in Birmingham the following day.

The band then head to Europe, with the world tour wrapping up in late March. See the remaining dates below.

Elsewhere, the band recently shared a cover of ‘Now Is The Hour’ – an early 20th century song with Maori origins made famous by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra – which features on the soundtrack to Apple TV+ series The New Look, produced by Jack Antonoff.
