ST. TAMMANY PARISH, La. (WGNO) — Three people are facing charges after drugs were found at the St. Tammany Parish Justice Center on Tuesday, Jan. 23.
According to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office, bailiffs found a “large quantity” of suboxone at the justice center allegedly packed to be smuggled into the St. Tammany Parish Jail.
Deputies said justice center officials then reported the information to the sheriff’s office.
During an investigation, STPSO detectives said they also recovered additional opened and discarded packets of suboxone in a nearby home.
Following the investigation, St. Tammany Parish deputies arrested inmate Joshua Martin, Samantha Martin Rotherham and Lisa Lloyd on a charge of felony conspiracy to introduce contraband into a correctional facility.
