Celebrating women’s voices

The Sinfonietta honors Women’s History Month by championing the creativity and talents of women and BIPOC composers and musicians. “Echo” includes the Chicago premier of “Concert Overture No. 2” by Florence Price and Clarice Assad performing her own untitled piece. Rising violinist Amaryn Olmeda makes her Chicago debut.

Celtic fiddlers

Comedian on tour

New York comedian Chris Roach recently toured as an opening act for Kevin James. He currently co-hosts two weekly podcasts; including “Comedians on Hockey,” where he and his comedian friends talk about hockey.

Hip-hop hooray

Kilted blast, brunch
