WEST LOOP — ARC Music Festival returns for a third year this Labor Day weekend at Union Park, bringing heavy-hitting house, techno and EDM artists to Chicago.

The festival is expanding to three days this year and will run Aug. 30-Sept. 1 at Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St. Tickets go on sale Friday at noon. Sign up for early access to tickets here.

The lineup will feature more than 50 performers including Disclosure, Carl Cox B2B Green Velvet, Skepta, Honey Dijon, Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla, Sven Väth, Purple Disco Machine, Gorgon City, Kaskade, Redux, Jayda G, LP Giobbi and actor/DJ Idris Elba, among others.

The music festival will feature four stages that will each cater to certain genres of electronic music. The Area 909 stage, for example, is “a homage to house and techno’s foundation in a raw and energetic setting.”

After-parties to the festival are being planned and will run from Thursday to Monday. “Arc After Dark” will showcase a variety of uniquely curated parties featuring artist label takeovers plus select acts outside of the festival lineup, according to a news release.
