EBRSO: Murder, suicide attempt leaves two dead in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Friday afternoon shooting in Baton Rouge.
Deputies said the shooting took place at a home in the 5200 block of Bluewater Drive around 2 p.m. The shooting left two dead and another injured, according to EBRSO.
After investigation, police believe that Brent Deloach, 63, shot and killed Sidney Deloach, 84, and Christina Deloach, 30, before shooting himself.
Brent and his father both lived in the home on Bluewater, and his daughter was visiting, officials said.
He is expected to recover from his injuries and will be charged with two counts of first-degree murder, according to EBRSO.

This is an ongoing investigation.
