Authorities believe alcohol and speed were possible factors in the crash, according to WTVM.

All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner only identified the victims as two men and a woman who were 18 and 20 years old.

Channel 2 Action News spoke to the siblings of one of the victims, who identified him as 20-year-old Riley Witt, of Cumming. Family members said the two other victims were also from Georgia but didn’t identify them.

Witt went to North Forsyth High School and was one of five adopted siblings, according to his brother, Richard Witt. He was studying to be a criminal attorney.

Witt and two friends were on their way to Panama City Beach for an impromptu road trip, Witt said.

“Riley was a young and ambitious individual. He had a lot of good energy and loved his friends and being with people he cared about,” Richard Witt said. “He radiated energy. The way he died was very tragic.”

Richard Witt did not know who was driving.

Another of Riley Witt’s brothers, Cody Witt, said his parents adopted Riley Witt and his four biological siblings from foster care in 2007.

“He always had a wisdom beyond his age,” Cody Witt said. “He was real spiritual and in touch with God.”
