Pa man sentenced on corruption of minors, indecent exposure charges

BELEFONTE, Pa. (WETM) — A Pennsylvania man will continue to serve time behind bars after being sentenced to three to nine years on sexual-related charges that took place in 2022.

According to information from the Bradford County Criminal Court, 43-year-old Joseph I. Kupetsky was sentenced to serve a minimum of three years and a maximum of nine years in a state correctional institution for sexual-related crimes out of Bradford County.

According to the documents, Kupetsky was sentenced for the crime of indecent exposure, a misdemeanor in the first degree, and corruption of minors, a felony in the third degree.

The prison time for both charges totals three to nine years followed by three years probation.

The documents say that Kupetsky is already serving a sentence of 18 months to six years out of Wyoming County in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. The new sentence will stack onto the current conviction bringing Kupetsky’s total time in prison to no less than four years, six months to 15 years maximum.

Documents say that following his release, Kupetsky will have to be required to register with the sex offender registry for the rest of his life.
