1 dead, 2 hospitalized after multi-car crash in Chicago suburb
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person was killed, and two others were hurt in a major crash involving three vehicles in Schiller Park just before midnight Friday evening.
Debris was scattered in the street near Cullom and River Road, and the roads were shut down for nearly 12 hours.
One person was found dead at the scene and has since been identified as 20-year-old Emanuel Del Valle from Chicago. Two others were rushed to Lutheran General Hospital with serious injuries.
It's unclear what led to the crash.
River Road was closed for investigation. It reopened around 10:25 a.m. Saturday morning.
