EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — After Thursday's incident at the U.S.-Mexico border when hundreds of migrants rushed The Texas National Guard, a migrant from Honduras is facing assault charges for his participation in the chaos.
Migrant Junior Evaristo-Benitez, 21, was taken into custody and charged with assault on a public servant.

According to The Texas Department of Public Safety, several migrants who breached the concertina wire and rushed the soldiers assaulted a service member.
Evaristo-Benitez was booked into the El Paso County Jail.
No word if the service member assaulted suffered injuries.

According to Texas DPS, the majority of migrants involved in the incident were men from Venezuela.
