Toys, collectibles featured in East Moline show
Toys are taking over The Bend XPO Center in East Moline this weekend.
The Quad Cities Toy Show is presenting its Mega March Show, with 100,000 square feet of toys, comics, cards, games, collectibles and just about anything else culture-related.
Among the special guests will be professional wrestling manager Jimmy Hart, known as “The Mouth of the South.”
“Why am I here? Look at how beautiful this building is – over 100 vendor tables,” he said. “I’m going to be here Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 5, signing autographs and taking pictures with all our fans,” he told Our Quad Cities News.
“I was on Wrestlemania I almost 40 years ago,” he said. “It’s something that keeps on going, year after year.”
The show runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $10.
