Top 2024 NBA All-Star Game predictions

One of the NBA All-Star Game score projections is from Matt Severance, who is 108-57 (+1924) with his last 165 NBA picks. He is predicting the West beats the East in a 174-170 thriller.

The East is a fresh-faced squad, with nine of the 14 players earning nods making their first, second or third career all-star appearance. Meanwhile, the West has seven players who are making at least their sixth appearance and Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Kevin Durant and James are all making at least their ninth appearance.

The absence of Joel Embiid also figures to loom large for the Eastern Conference since Embiid is the reigning NBA MVP and averaging 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game this season. Without Embiid, Nikola Jokic and Anthony Davis could present significant matchup problems for the East on the block and those are big reasons why Severance likes the West to win a tight battle and favors the Under. See the rest of the experts' NBA score projections here
