SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A man was injured after a shooting took place on Worthington Street in Springfield Friday night.
According to Springfield Police Spokesperson Ryan Walsh, officers were called to a ShotSpotter activation on the 800 block of Worthington Street at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Friday.
A short time later, a man arrived at the Springfield Police Headquarters seeking medical treatment. The man was then brought to Baystate Medical Center for his injuries. The Springfield Police Department’s Detective Bureau is investigating the shooting.
