SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Ryan Wanless, a Sioux Falls man, finished the Iditarod Invitational in Alaska Thursday morning.

Wanless crossed the finish line in Nome, Alaska on his bike. He finished in the rain after days at -35, with windchills in the -40s and -50.

It took him 24 days 17 hours and 10 minutes to complete the one thousand mile trek across Alaska.

Wanless was 10th overall out of all 1000 racers.
