Kerry Katona has congratulated The Voice's Anne-Marie who was recently spotted with her newborn after the singer hid her pregnancy for the last nine months.
"Congratulations to the singer Anne-Marie who had a baby girl last month," Kerry exclusively told OK!. "I read that she decided to keep her pregnancy under wraps and it came as a total surprise to fans when the baby arrived. I can understand why she did that – it can be difficult being pregnant in the public eye – but I was actually the complete opposite."
Kerry - who is mum to Molly, Lilly, Heidi, Max and DJ - revealed that when she was pregnant, she wanted to shout about her exciting news from the rooftops.
"When I was having all my kids, I couldn’t wait to tell people I was expecting and when they arrived, I was showing them off right away. Having a baby is such an exciting time," she continued.
Fans were sent into a frenzy when it was reported that Anne-Marie - best known for hit songs 2002 and Ciao Adios - welcomed the tot with rapper Slowthai (Tyron Frampton) last month and was seen pushing a £1700 Silver Cross pram around in North London.
Anne-Marie decided to keep her pregnancy a secret for the last nine months despite being on tour at the end of 2023. The star appeared to use large outfits to hide her bump on stage and also hasn’t been posting any pictures of herself on social media.
The 32 year old pop star has named her daughter Seven, in tribute to her favourite lucky number. A source told The Sun: “Anne-Marie and Slowthai have had a baby daughter they’ve named Seven. It is Anne-Marie’s lucky number and she even has 0707 tattooed on her because she sees them as her angel numbers. She was born last month and both of them are absolutely delighted.”
The source claimed that Anne-Marie has always wanted to be a mum and so this will be an ‘amazing’ time for her.
Anne-Marie, who was previously a judge on The Voice, previously explained why she loved the number seven so much, saying: “When you see double numbers, your angels are supposed to be with you and seven is my favourite number. Because of where the mirror is, when I look in the mirror I see it.”
