Touring Lego event, Brick Fest Live, comes to the Springfield Expo Center

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Brick Fest Live is in Springfield all weekend at the Springfield Expo Center.

The event is open to all ages and has family building stations to build and show off Lego architecture projects or murals.

Another draw to the festival is the Lego statues brought in from Lego Land.

“I love Brick Fest because it just gives me and my dad also the chance to just motivate future Lego builders, just future enthusiasts of Lego, we’re here to just motivate and inspire the future Lego builders,” said Emmanuel Garcia, a Lego enthusiast who was featured on the show Lego Masters.

Brick Fest Live also has a building competition for Lego derby cards, allowing kids to build and race their creations against each other.

The event is being held on both Saturday and Sunday.
