Microsoft has released the KB5035853 cumulative update for Windows 11 23H3 and 22H2, with 21 fixes and changes, including fixing a bug causing 0x800F0922 errors when installing updates.
This update is mandatory as it contains the Microsoft March 2024 Patch Tuesday security updates, which fixed sixty vulnerabilities in Microsoft's products.
You can install the update now by going to Start > Settings > Windows Update and clicking on 'Check for Updates.' Otherwise, Microsoft will attempt to install it during your normally scheduled patch window.
This patch is also available on the Microsoft Update Catalog.
What's new in the Windows 11 KB5035853 update
After installing the KB5035853 update, Windows 11 23H2 will have a build number of 22621.3296, and Windows 11 22H2 will be build 22621.3155.

Microsoft is changing the name of The Phone Link settings page to Mobile devices. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Mobile devices.

This update adds support for the USB 80Gbps standard. It is the next generation of USB4 that has twice the bandwidth of USB 40Gbps. To use USB 80Gbps, you must have a compatible PC and USB4 or Thunderbolt™ peripheral.

This update addresses an issue that affects long-edge fed printers. The alignment of stapling or hole punch locations is wrong.

How wonderful that Microsoft has included support for USB 80Gbps but has continued to ignore the spate of users who are STILL experiencing file transfer rates of no more than 40 Mbps on Windows 11 with SSDs - whether SATA or NVME, whether all on the internal PCIe bus, via USB-C or Thunderbolt... It's all over various forums and the same useless suggestions. This has happened to me on both a PC I upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11 as well as a brand new build with a freshly downloaded copy of Windows 11, with all brand new hardware, including a Seagate Firecuda 540 2 TB drive with nothing else on it... Get your garbage together MS!

Can you link some of these posts you mentioned? All instances I found were about hardware or drivers issues and not specific with Win11.

I’ll follow up shortly with the links… It’s 100% not driver related and definitely specific to Windows 11. After almost two weeks of trying to resolve it on that brand-new clean build of WIndows 11, I gave up and installed Windows 10 - absolutely zero issues since. No change to drivers or hardware.
