DNC taunts Lara Trump and RNC after mass firings: ‘Down bad’

.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Jaime Harrison mocked the Republican National Committee after it laid off dozens of staffers.

Harrison spoke on the MediasTouch podcast, which he appeared on last week to mock Lara Trump’s election as co-chairwoman. This time, he mocked the RNC and Trump over Monday’s mass firings and other alleged troubles.

“Hey, listen, as they say, the RNC is down bad,” Harrison said.

“They are in financial disarray,” he continued. “They’re dealing with a mass purge of staffers just a few months before the election. I hear almost a third of the staffers at the RNC are being laid off, and they’re on one of the worst losing streaks we’ve seen in modern party politics … in the history of this nation.”

“So you know, they’re taking out lines of credit, laying off staff, and they can’t even afford to spend money on their races down ballot, but this is a good thing,” Harrison said. “They are paying Donald Trump’s legal bills. So, as I’ve said to you earlier, man, go, Lara. Go, girl. You are doing it. You are knocking it out of the park. Keep doing it.”

The Washington Examiner reached out to the RNC for comment.

Chairman Michael Watley and Trump were elected with former President Donald Trump’s endorsement, solidifying his control over the Republican Party’s infrastructure. They began work in their new positions on Monday, quickly implementing their new vision. A total of 60 staffers were believed to be laid off. One source reportedly described the scene as an “absolute bloodbath.”
