Crews respond to north Toledo fire

No one was at home at the time of the fire, authorities said.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Fire & Rescue crews responded to a north Toledo house fire Friday morning. 

Firefighting crews responded to the 1300 block of Noble Street near Mulberry Street shortly before 7 a.m. Heavy fire was coming from the home when crews arrived. According to crews on scene, although the structure is not a vacant building, no one was home when the fire started. 

Crews extinguished the fire before it could spread to a neighboring home. An investigator responded to the scene to determine the cause of the fire, which was unknown as of 8 a.m.
