CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KWWL) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after being rescued from a house fire in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday morning.Â
The Cedar Rapids Fire and Police Departments responded to a home in the 1200 block of N Street SW around 10:08 a.m.
Police evacuated one person from the home and the fire department evacuated the second person.
Both victims were taken to the hospital for evaluation and further treatment.Â
No other injuries were reported, but there is significant damage to the home.
The fire remains under investigation.Â
