CHARGES HAVE BEEN FILED. NOBODY WAS HURT WHEN A GRAIN BIN EXPLODED IN MARSHALL COUNTY THIS MORNING. IT HAPPENED IN THE SMALL TOWN OF GREEN MOUNTAIN. A VIEWER SHARED THESE PHOTOS OF THE AFTERMATH. THE TOWN’S FIRE CHIEF SAYS CREWS GOT THERE JUST BEFORE 530 THIS MORNING. HE SAYS IT RUPTURED BECAUSE OF A CONTAINMENT FAILURE. NO ONE WAS ON SITE WHEN IT HAPPENED

Nobody was injured when a grain bin ruptured early Friday morning in the small town of Green Mountain. The Green Mountain fire chief said crews were called to the scene just before 5:30 a.m. He said one of the original grain bins ruptured because of a containment failure. Nobody was injured when a grain bin ruptured early Friday morning in the small town of Green Mountain.
The Green Mountain fire chief said crews were called to the scene just before 5:30 a.m. He said one of the original grain bins ruptured because of a containment failure.
