Throwback: Rhode Island meets rising star Billy Gilman

(WJAR) — It was 24 years ago when Rhode Island was watching a rising start: Billy Gilman.

On March 14, 2000, Nicole Livas spoke with the young Gilman about his career.

Gilman saw a comeback a few years later when he was runner up on Season 11 of NBC’s The Voice.
