Bakersfield Sports Village to close Friday ahead of ‘Boots in the Park’

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Sports Village will be closed Friday as crews make the finishing touches for Friday’s “Boots in the Park” country music concert, according to City officials.

Crews may also impact traffic as they break down the stage after the concert wraps up.

“Boots in the Park” will be happening from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
