Join the launch of Sharmistha Mohanty’s most recent title, ‘Book One,’ which is a free-flowing narrative in verse and prose, marking the debut of an astonishing new voice in literature. She will be in conversation with Sohini Basak, a writer of fiction, poetry, and the in-between. Mohanty is the author of three works of prose, Book One, New Life, and Five Movements in Praise, and a book of poems, The Gods Came Afterwards. She has also translated a selection of Tagore’s fiction, Broken Nest and Other Stories. Her most recent work is Extinctions, a book of prose poems.

Many of his illusion shows are organised as fundraising events.
