Omaha police said a man running from officers broke into a home on Friday.The incident happened near 25th and Marcy streets.Officers were patrolling the area and recognized a man they said had a felony shoplifting warrant.When they tried to approach him, he ran away.During the chase, police said the man tried to break into multiple homes and a car.Officers finally arrested the suspect in the basement of a home in that same area.Click here for the latest headlines from KETV NewsWatch 7
