Pedestrian dies after crash near 4th and Frankford

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A pedestrian stuck near the intersection of 4th and Frankford last Tuesday has died.

Police say 26-year-old Immanuel Lopez died on Wednesday, March 13 from his injuries.

Lopez was struck on the morning of March 5 by a passenger car driven by 36-year-old Dezerae Ortiz.

The Lubbock Police Department is asking for the public’s help in attempting to locate a relative of Lopez. If anyone has any information on how to contact Lopez’s family, they are asked to call Detective Edwards at (806) 775-2757.

The crash remains under investigation.
