A local police department is still investigating a missing person cold case.
Pocatello Police are still investigating the disappearance of Matt Thomas Amon.
Matt went missing in 1971.
Matt's disappearance was reported originally in 1971 and again nearly 40 years after the official investigation began.
At the time Matt went missing, he was 20-years-old, 5'9 and weighed about 140 pounds.
He has brown eyes and black hair and a scar on his forehead.
Matt had been arrested for disorderly conduct in July of 1971 where he spent a few weeks in the Bannock County Jail.
He disappeared shortly after his release.
