FATAL CAR CRASH

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- A man is dead after a crash in Graves County on Tuesday afternoon.

Deputies responded to the crash at 1:45 to find Billy J. Luter, 59, of Dublin, dead on the scene. The Graves County Coroner Brad Jones later confirmed Luter's death.

The crash occurred on Ky. Hwy 384, or New Dublin Road, east of Johnnie Road. Officials believe Luter was driving west on the road when he drifted off and flipped his car into a creek. Investigators are unsure what caused Luter to flip.

The Mayfield Graves County Rescue Squad, Mayfield/Graves County EMS, Graves County Emergency Management, and Paul's Towing Company all offered aid to Graves County officials.
