ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Berkeley, Missouri, man is accused of picking up an underage teen and having sex contact with the child before dropping her off at school.

According to the Chesterfield Police Department’s probable cause statement, the victim’s mother called police to report her 14-year-old daughter missing on March 8 after the child failed to come home from school that day.

Security video from the victim’s neighborhood shows the 14-year-old entering a white Dodge Durango earlier that morning. Surveillance video from the girl’s school shows her getting out of the same Dodge Durango in the parking lot later that morning.

Investigators searched the victim’s phone and found a phone number registered to a home in Berkeley.

Police went to the home and saw the same Dodge Durango in the driveway.

Police approached the Durango and found two people asleep in the vehicle: the missing 14-year-old and Yeison Perdomo.

Perdomo got out of the truck, but police claim he fought back against officers before being arrested.

Investigators claim the victim said Perdomo picked her up from her home that morning, drove her to a park, and had sexual contact with her.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Perdomo with enticement of a child less than 15 years of age and resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony. Perdomo was jailed without bond.
