Lecrae to close out Christian concert series at Magic Springs

Grammy winner Lecrae will close out the 2024 Webmonster Summer Concert Series of Christian performers at Magic Springs Theme and Water Park on Aug. 10, a news release said.

"We have packed this summer with a fantastic lineup of Christian performers," Jessyka Hanna, general manager for Magic Springs Theme and Water Park, said in the release. "With opening day quickly approaching, we cannot wait to begin welcoming guests to experience all of the acts in our Webmonster Summer Concert Series."

"Lecrae is a performer who is well known for his ability to connect his Christian faith with his hip-hop roots through music. He has nine Grammy Award nominations and four wins, two of which were earned this year for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album," the release said.

His 2012 album "Gravity" won Best Gospel Album at the 55th Grammy Awards, marking the first time a hip-hop artist ever won the honors in that category, it said.

The full lineup of Christian artists Magic Springs will welcome include:

June 22 -- We The Kingdom.

July 13 -- P.O.D.

July 20 -- Zach Williams.
