‘Hotter than hot’: Watch Magic Mike star Channing Tatum make it rain in Miami

Channing Tatum has come full circle.

The 42-year-old dancer turned actor appeared alongside sizzling costar Salma Hayek on the red carpet Wednesday night at the premiere of “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” at Regal South Beach.

The movie, the third in the trilogy, shows “Magic Mike” (Tatum) now working as a bartender in Miami after a business deal goes bad. After a chance meeting with Hayek’s socialite character, he is, um, thrust back into the world of exotic dancing across the pond.

Tatum said it was a natural fit for the film to be partially shot in Miami because he got his start in Tampa, at an all-male revue back in the ‘90s, under the stage name Chan Crawford.

Chan’s come a long way but the Alabama native still feels an affinity for the Sunshine State.

“Florida. All things come back around,” the father of one told an “Entertainment Tonight” reporter. “You end it as you started it.”

Speaking of starting things, before the Steven Soderbergh-helmed flick screened, crowds were entertained with a highly energetic show outside the theater. Lithe cast members from “Magic Mike Live” ripped off their shirts, jumped, flipped and did somersaults on Alton Road as onlookers cheered. You can see a bit of the “hotter than hot” action on the movie’s Instagram page.

An afterparty was appropriately held at Magic Mike Live’s popup venue in Virginia Key near Miami Marine Stadium. The tour began in October and runs locally until April 2023.

Tatum made a surprise visit, while the guys were gyrating up on stage, throwing out bills and “making it rain” for the thrilled audience. Two guests, Mariela Mastrangelo and Luis Jairala, posted snippets of the fun on social media.

If you’re lucky, Channing will show up around these parts again. There’s a good chance; the “Step Up” star’s current girlfriend, Zoe Kravitz, partially grew up here, attending Miami Country Day School, and her rocker dad, Lenny Kravitz, has a place in the Magic City.

Or you can always go see Tatum on the big screen: the movie hits theaters starting Feb. 10.
