UPDATE: U.S. 93 reopened to traffic around 2:30 p.m. nearly 12 hours after the deadly crash.
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Three people are dead following a fatal crash between a vehicle and semi-truck on U.S. 93 about six miles north of I-15, according to Nevada State Police.
The crash was reported around 3:30 a.m. Nevada State Police said U.S 93 will closed for up to seven hours. Troopers said, that at this point, they are unaware of speed or impairment are factors.
Drivers leaving Lincoln County and heading south are advised to detour by using State Highway 168 to get to I-15.
