With summer just a couple of months away, residents in Ontario are mentally gearing up for lounging by the pool and taking a dip by the lake.
But if you’re in your entrepreneurial bag, you might want to consider owning your own waterpark, and thanks to an ad online, that’s a real possibility.
Waterpark company Splash, which owns multiple waterparks across Canada, is selling one of its waterparks located in Sudbury, Ontario for $60,000.
According to Facebook Marketplace, the waterpark features a massive tower and a variety of obstacles.
“This park is in great condition and has been [professionally run and cleaned] every year and stored in a dry/sealed container. All park pieces as seen in this image are included,” the caption read.
According to the seller, the value for a brand new Wibit waterpark set of this size is $180,000.00, with an additional cost for delivery, setup items, sea container and more.
However, there’s one catch to the deal.
“As part of this sale, an agreement must be signed that this park will not be operated commercially within a 50km radius from the City of Greater Sudbury for a period of 3 years,” it read.
But the seller says the buyer can probably make their money back in a single summer.
